Counselling is a space where one needs to have autonomy over their session. The act of sharing experiences, ideas and thoughts is sacred territory. Counselling is an act of identifying, feeling somatically, perceiving, processing, holding energetically, allowing and intuiting.
The type of work that we do is not clinical. The main goal of the work is consistently being identified or explored either directly or subtly with connections being made along the way...some might call these, ''aha" moments. This is more than just connecting the dots, counselling is about understanding something that happened in a way that starts to make sense so you can digest it. When you have your first session you create a map of you, each session thereafter develops that map.

Thus allowing yourself the opportunity to become curious whereas at the start it might have felt like you were being pulled by what you felt. This curiosity becomes playful, energising, empowering, exciting. Suddenly, you  are at a place of ownership...the heaviness fades, lightness appears, depth is manageable, you understand yourself and others. You get it wholly and you move with a much greater ease.
